Gotta Have It…Design for Obama Book

Here’s some photos from a new book (Design for Obama) that compiles much of the art during the 2008 Presidential Election…

The idea came from a poster that was done during the election in which an artist had redone the movie poster from the Spike Lee film, Do the Right Thing. Lee stumbled across the poster and approached Aaron Perry-Zucker (of designforabama.org) to put a book together of the artwork submitted to the website.

Awesome!

You can purchase the book (like I will be doing) at Amazon or your local bookstore.

  1. Hola-
Thanks for writing up this beautiful book that is a testament to as well as a celebration of Obama’s historic campaign & the art & artists who helped to make it happen.
It’s also a tremendous honor for me to actually be in the book (my works are on page 49, “Man of Hope” & the far superior “Baby Got Hope” on 85).

Thought you might enjoy my post on the “Design For Obama” book release shindig~
