The Futuristic Burj Kalifa

I really enjoy great feats of design, so I’ve been following the construction of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Kalifa, for some time now. Orginally called the Burj Dubai, this 160-story skyscraper towers over Dubai, UAE at a staggering 2,717 feet and houses residential properties, 1 of 4 worldwide Armani Hotels, and a 124 story observation deck. The supertall skyscraper also has a really neat fountain display complete with music, lights, and timed actions. It is called the Dubai Fountain.

The Burj Kalifa opened on the 4th amidst an amazing fireworks display and celebration. You know, Dubai is steadily trying to be the most advanced and entertaining city in the world. May I suggest reading this and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Personally, I can’t wait to visit!
