Artist of the Day…Terry Winters

Today’s artist is painter, draftsman, and print maker Terry Winters. I really dig abstract art and Terry Winters is one of the best out there. Abstract art is thought of as not really having any sort of meaning, but more often than not, there are distinct themes that are quite prevalent in many artist’s works. For example, Terry Winters has covered many areas including architecture, computer sciences, and natural sciences.

I really like when artists create works that immediately look meaningless at first glance, but in actuality are loaded beyond belief. It makes us think and exercises our critical thinking skills.
