A Golden Afternoon…

I saw Alice In Wonderland this weekend and I have to say it was another one of those visual odyssey’s that seems to be a big part of cinema today. I’m not going to write a review about the movie, but I will say that it’s totally Tim Burton and that I totally loved it. The costumes were beyond gorgeous…and I’m not in the least bit surprised since Colleen Atwood was the costumer. Johnny Depp was hilarious as The Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter was a great and humorous Red Queen. Plus, the worlds that were created were amazing –  especially in 3D. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should really check it out!

Anyway, I wanted to share with you my favorite scene from the 1951 Disney classic because I always loved the idea of talking flowers.

…I would love it if a golden afternoon included butterbread butterflies and gossiping flowers!
