Designer of the Day…Juanjo Oliva

You know, there’s something inherently more colorful and raw about aesthetic of designers of color which is why I wanted to feature Juanjo Oliva of Spain. His amazing use of color and silhouette are really striking to me and his dresses are oh so cute.

Oliva has studied at the Artistic Institute of Spain and Parsons School of Design. He’s also an illustrator and has shown at numerous Madrid Fashion Weeks. He also recently opened a boutique in Madrid. I am in love with his style and his color! It is so refreshing that designers that are not afraid to use color (in the clothing or models) are starting to garner more recognition!

Beautiful!
