Trio…Why Springtime and I Are Frenemies

1) Allergies – I usually like to rub my eyes after I take out my contact lenses. It relieves all the itchiness from the day and give my eyes and I some nice massage time…however, when Springtime is here, rubbing my eyes turns into a watery-eyed, itchy, bitchy (on my part) mess!  But then again, it’s a catch 22 – I love to frolic outside on warm days…damn those allergies!

If I were covered in pollen like this bee, I would be dead. Period.

2) Rain – Part of the joy of Springtime is getting the chance to break out the legs again. After being in hiding all winter, my gams love the feel of the sun on them…they do not however love the feel of being wet…from rain…which seems to happen daily. So they go back into hiding until the skies decide to stop being such crybabies. Yet again though, there is another catch 22 – I love bringing out my umbrellas – they need to be showed off as much as my legs do!

3) Sunny Days – You’re probably wondering why sunny days would make me mad at the lovely Springtime season…and the only reason is cause it’s usually sunny when I have to be stuck inside all day due to work. That’s it really. My number 2 reason as to why Spring and I are frenemies should only be reserved for M-F, 8am-5pm!
