[Vintage NYC]…”New York In Color”

NYC is one of my favorite cities because it’s got something for everyone and it’s rich history is fascinating. That being said, I was really happy to discover this collection of vintage photographs that depict NYC as it was in the early 1940’s and 1960’s. Here  are some of my favorites…

It is amazing to me that there were actually quite a bit of high rises and such. Plus it’s really neat to see the vintage cars on streets where futuristic Scion’s now use. This is a really cool blast from the past! You should really check out the rest of the galleries here and here.
