Artist of the Day…Henrik Bonnevier

I have always enjoyed still life paintings and photography, so it’s no wonder that I am featuring today’s artist, Henrik Bonnevier, today. His work is perfect for advertisement and fashion photography. I love the colors and collage like motif’s he uses in his photgraphs. It makes them eye catching and interesting.

Bonnevier originally began as a skiing photographer, but found himself thrown into the world of still life when he created the artwork for Moby’s 2000 Single, “Porcelain”. Since then, he has done work for such companies as Sony and Nokia. His subject matters encompasses everything from fashion to food.

So many of these would make great additions to any wall…I especially love the haberdashery image at the very top…those hats are stunning!
