[Paper Fiction]…Amazing Papercrafts

Papercrafts are really interesting to me because the artform is so broad. It just amazes me all the things you can do with paper (besides scrapbook), especially the fact that dimensional objects can be created with it. In fact, I wrote awhile back about paper sculptor Peter Callesen. If you enjoyed that post then you’ll love these…

The various works above are done by (in order) Jen Stark, Brian Dettmer, Sher Christopher, Yulia BroadskayaJolis Paons, and Bovey Lee. Of course I LOVE Jolis Paons’s paper dress and I was pleased to recognize Yulia Broadskaya’s work as very suberb quilling. I really like Jen Stark’s workd because of the colors in them. Plus they remind me of paper flowers. Sher Christopher’s paper dolls are literally that! Which is very nostalgic for me. I loved paper dolls growing up. Bovey Lee’s paper cutouts are right up there with Peter Callesen’s in my book. The sheer intricate nature of all these designers works just floors me 🙂

Check out more great paper artists here…you will not be disappointed!
