Artist of the Day…Jenny Gray

Today’s artist is painter Jenny Gray. I wanted to feature her work because I was in the mood for some abstract art…plus I really enjoy her use of color. Her works are really vibrant!

Gray creates her artwork amongst the beauty that is Oregon. Her inspirations include textiles, 1950’s modern art, typography, old barns, old signs, and ephemera. She says that she loves art and especially painting because of the way paint layers tells a story. She says her paintings are made of raw emotion…and I can see that because they almost seem alive. This is simply a great collection of paintings!
