Artist of the Day…Luis Toledo

Today’s artist is a great illustrator from Spain by the name of Luis Toledo. He’s got these great images that combine skulls, anatomy, and vague religious references that I’m really enjoying…almost sort of like artwork you’d find surrounding Day of the Dead motifs…His work is also quite detailed and somewhat collage oriented as well. I couldn’t find out too much info about Toledo as most of his sites were in Spanish, but I did gather that he’s done a great deal of poster design for various festivals and has probably contributed to magazines as well. Check out his Behance site and his flickr for some more awesomeness!
