[7 Deadly Sins]…Minimalist Posters by Make Area

Came across these minimalist posters by a Moscow based designer known as Make Area. These illustrate the 7 Deadly Sins using shapes and while I don’t fully understand them, I do think they are pretty neat. I’m digging the smoke like effect that’s used in each one. I wish there was an explanation to go along with them though…I’d like to know why each shape was used. For example, I would have used an inverted triangle for “Lust”..why you ask? Cause that would allude to the shape of a certain part of the female anatomy. But perhaps that was too literal!

Anyway, these are cool…what do you think?
