[Children in Technicolor]…Photography by Ruud Van Empel

These are so stunning and vibrant…

The awesome photographs above are by Ruud Van Empel, an Amsterdam based photographer that I am totally enthralled with because of the color use! It’s also welcoming to see children of color as depictions of “the innocent child” which is what I think is being conveyed in these images. My favorite is definitely the little girl in the blue dress. Those are from a series entitled “Moon”. Each one of these images is created using pieces from other photographs…can you imagine the time and detail that must involve!? It’s certainly awesome though…how else would you get such vibrant colors!
