Loving…Lanvin for H&M

These right here are the reason why I will be at the Mall of America bright & early on Nov 20 (all photos courtesy of Nitrolicious)

These are totally Lanvin and totally feed my glamourpuss side. I am in love with that sheer jacket, the floral dress, and (dare I say it) that velvet jacket! Anyone that knows me knows I DO NOT do velvet or velour – I absolutely detest that fabric, but that jacket above just may make me change my mind! Correction…so, upon closer inspection I’ve learned that the jacket is actually faux fur. I’m not really a fur kind of girl, so I actually would prefer that it be velour, but I still do like the silhouette and detailing of the jacket. I’m also really digging those pumps and many of the dresses would be perfect for a New Years eve outfit (one of which I just may get since this New Years will be my 1st in L.A.!!). The prices are really reasonable as well and even the men’s collection is quite dapper, fresh, and chic.

I am quite impressed with the collection, but I really hope that it’s made as well and feels as good as the photos make it appear. As of late I have been disappointed in retail/high-end designer collections (I have Target to thank for this, hmph), so I’m really hoping that H&M does Lanvin some justice…I mean this has to satisfy me until I can afford some pieces directly from Alber Elbaz and his design team themselves!
